Bigfoot Stares at Man for two Minutes, Throws Rock

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —  A man says he found a Bigfoot last week while camping with his family at Kentucky’s Taylorsville Lake.

The man, who didn’t provide a name, says they were sleeping in their tents when a “loud howl” startled them at around 2 a.m., prompting the father to go out to investigate with the help of a flashlight.

“And I was shining it like this, and I had my gun right here, and the whole time I was shining it I was moving my eyes to the left like this, and right when I did that I caught what would look like two animal eyes down there, and it caught my attention,” he told Kentucky investigator Charlie Raymond.

Reportedly, after being able to make out the shape of its head and shoulders, the animal stood up.

“At the time I was scared but I was also kind of excited, ‘what the hell is this’?” he recalls about the incident.

“I had eye contact, he had eye contact with me, I had my gun on me, I wasn’t afraid, I wasn’t afraid for my family. I know that if anything I could stop it from hurting them…and I yell at my wife and kids that we are leaving. I said ‘go get the stuff out of the tents, leave the tents where the lay, get in the car, we are gonna leave’.”

And as his wife and kids were packing things up, he says, the staring contest continued for about two minutes.

“I can hear my wife saying ‘we got everything’, and me being just, you know, just a typical curious person I said ‘honey!’, because the whole time I’m watching it wasn’t moving, it was staying right there. I say, ‘come here! you gotta take a look at this’. And she is like ‘get in the car now! get in the car now!,” he said.

After hearing his son Leo crying, he turned around to calm him down. It was at that moment, according to the witness, that the animal threw a rock and hit a nearby tree.

“I don’t know if it was bark, or if it was pieces of the rock, but a couple pieces kind of hit my cheek, you know?”

But that’s when the beast decided to walk away.

“Jeez, later on in the car, it kind of choked me up, my son said ‘I just had this imagination that I would look at you and something would drag you in the woods,” he said.

The witness didn’t provide a physical description of the creature.

Taylorsville Lake is a 1,200 acres state park  located in Spencer County, Kentucky, between Louisville and Lexington.

The state of Kentucky has reported an unusual number of Bigfoot sightings this year.

Last March a child said he had seen a creature that “looked like a monkey” staring at him through a window outside his home.

In May, a man from Jenkins claimed he had an encounter with the beast that made his “legs shake”.
