Couple Sees ‘Bigfoot’ in Northern Ohio

FREMONT, Ohio — A couple in Northern Ohio claim they saw a Bigfoot creature in daylight.

Downtown Fremont, Ohio.

The anonymous man told BFRO investigator Marc Dewerth that they were driving south on State Route 19 when they noticed the hairy being in October 28th, 2017.

“It was walking from a field, crossing the road. As I pointed it out to my wife, we watched it non-stop. It was 4:30 p.m., a very clear and sunny day.”

The eyewitnesses describe the creature as a two-legged tall and brown creature covered in thick hair. They believe it was about 8 feet tall, walking in long strides and easily able to step over the guardrail adjacent to the woods where it disappeared.

“We stopped and looked around. It was hard to believe what we had seen.”

The man adds that they were “totally in awe” and that they are sure what they saw was a “Bigfoot”.

DeWerth says he conducted a followup investigation and subsequent interview with the couple and that they seemed to be honest about what they claimed to have witnessed.

Located in Sandusky County, Fremont is formerly known as Lower Sandusky and has a population of 17,000.

A year ago, two people in Eastern Ohio claimed to have seen a similar creature.
