White Bigfoot Seen Again! Now in Vermont

By Michael Bachman January 21st, 2014

SHAFTSBURY, Vt.-A 20-year-old man claims he saw a “white Bigfoot” Sunday while walking his dog near his residence.

The man, who asked Cryptozoology News to remain anonymous, described a 10-foot bipedal crossing the road in front of him, at around 5.40 p.m., on the way back to his house.

“There was an awful smell in the air. My dog kept barking. There are wild animals around here, I wasn’t surprised or anything. Pretty common for my dog to go nuts. I thought maybe a dead animal of some sort, and perhaps cats eating the remains. But the smell was so strong I could almost feel the warmth in the air,” J.H said.

A few seconds later, he explained, the dog became fearful and began hiding behind his owner.

“That’s when I thought that something wasn’t right. I began thinking maybe a bear or a homeless guy trying to mug me or something. The odor got more intense. I couldn’t believe it, I see what looks like a guy in a white costume or something, running across the road, towards the woods, but he -or it- was in no hurry. I couldn’t see the face, so it could have been a person, to be honest. But I can tell the costume, or the skin, or whatever, had long white hairs on it. The hair on the back of the head was surprisingly longer than the rest of the body. It made it look more human, like a big old man with long hair, or a wig. I was a little worried at first because of the way my dog was acting, so I wasn’t sure as to what to do at the moment. But right away I could feel whatever it was meant no harm. We went back home and told my wife but she said it was probably a man in a costume, just like I said. Now I don’t know what the hell would a man be doing playing a hoax in the cold, but…it didn’t look like an animal.”

Last month, a man from Maine — who was also walking his dog — reported a similar incident. Whether the two sightings are the same creature isn’t clear, but if related, this could provide a first clue to understanding a possible migration pattern of the mythical creature.
