Birdzilla Spotted in California

Pterodactyl CaliforniaA man allegedly saw a “giant bird” Thursday in Northern California.

According to the witness, he and two friends were hiking an undisclosed trail along the coast when hen they spotted the creature.

“It was quite a surprise. It was around 3 in the afternoon. We were having this feeling that someone was watching us…my friend noticed a two foot white and red feather on the ground, next to a tree,” the 21-year-old college student told Cryptozoology News. “So he picks it up, and we wonder if the feather is an eagle’s or a turkey’s, we have no idea about birds. Well, we look up and we notice a strange shape on a thick branch of the pine tree.”

The men weren’t able to tell whether the animal was a “bear or a raccoon”, until it started moving.

“It started shrieking like a bird. Kind of sounded like a Blue Jay, or a crow. But then it began to sound like a human baby, crying. We look at each other and I get goosebumps. That was at least seven foot tall. It had a long dark beak, kind of blue, very long, like a pelican or something. Most of the body had grey feathers except for a small portion on the chest, which had very bright white and red feathers. We couldn’t see its feet, but they were probably huge, I bet that animal weighted about 90 pounds if not more.”

The three friends studied the animal for a few seconds before it took off to a nearby tree. “It flew from one tree to another, very slowly. Its wings were huge, probably 10 foot? I noticed the wings had some type of hook on top of them, and they were featherless underneath, like those of a bat, but the outer surface had dark feathers. Then it began flying again and we weren’t able to see it again.”

No pictures or videos were taken during the incident. Cryptozoology News asked for a sample of the purported collected feathers to be sent to us for analysis, but the witness denied the request.
